What a performance

As part of the Woolly Thinking collaborative project, which was in turn a part of the Lancashire Encounter festival in Preston in September 2016, my role was to document the project to provide a record for the archives and to provide images for the final slideshow which would form part of the resulting installation at Oxheys Mill Studios in Preston.

Starting with providing a photographic record of sheep shearing at Laund’s Farm near Chipping, I also photographed the map drawn by Gordon Ashworth which was then reproduced as a limited edition print and then the live performances of spinning and weaving by textiles artist Caroline Finnigan and musician Chelytherium at the Harris Museum and Gallery and then the final exhibition.
